We got word today that our over due Vespa and Piaggio scooters are on the way, and we should have in about a week. Once we get em in, we got to prep them, then onto the showroom floor, and then onto the road and into your garage. Even though our scooters have yet to arrive we are starting to have some great product rolling in, just in time for the holidays. While thumbing through the Fall issue of Antenna Magazine I ran across a two page spread/article on the new Vespa S 150. If your not familiar with Antenna here is a little about the magazine from the site:

Surprisingly the only place in Lexington that I have found Antenna Magazine is at the Kroger on Euclid. If your into staying in the know on the freshest gear, clothing, toys, etc for guys, I would highly recommend picking a copy up if you happen to run across it. Pick up a new Vespa from Vespa lexington while your at it.
We actually got these new t shirts for Vespa Lexington a few days ago, and even though we are not quite open yet we have been selling quite a few of them. Vespa USA just gave their website a much needed upgrade. Check it out at www.vespausa.com. It has all of the new 09 models, new clothing and accessories (only available at authorized Vespa dealers), and a lot of other really cool features. One of the really fun things in starting a new business is the creating of your business logo. We actually had several logo’s created for Vespa Lexington to use in various advertisments, t shirts, etc… We wanted our main logo to include the mod bullseye which has been associated with scootering and Vespa’s for sometime. For those that are not familiar with the term Mod or Mods, below is a definition taken from wikopedia:
“Mod (originally modernist, sometimes capitalised) is a subculture that originated in London in the late 1950s and peaked in the early to mid 1960s.[1][2][3] Significant elements of the mod lifestyle included pop music, such as African American soul, Jamaican ska, and British beat music and R&B; fashion (often tailor-made suits); and Italian motor scooters. The mod scene was also associated with amphetamine-fuelled all-night dancing at clubs.[4] From the mid to late 1960s onwards, the mass media often used the term mod in a wider sense to describe anything that was believed to be popular, fashionable or modern.”
