Vespa Lexington Logos
One of the really fun things in starting a new business is the creating of your business logo. We actually had several logo’s created for Vespa Lexington to use in various advertisments, t shirts, etc… We wanted our main logo to include the mod bullseye which has been associated with scootering and Vespa’s for sometime. For those that are not familiar with the term Mod or Mods, below is a definition taken from wikopedia:

“Mod (originally modernist, sometimes capitalised) is a subculture that originated in London in the late 1950s and peaked in the early to mid 1960s.[1][2][3] Significant elements of the mod lifestyle included pop music, such as African American soul, Jamaican ska, and British beat music and R&B; fashion (often tailor-made suits); and Italian motor scooters. The mod scene was also associated with amphetamine-fuelled all-night dancing at clubs.[4] From the mid to late 1960s onwards, the mass media often used the term mod in a wider sense to describe anything that was believed to be popular, fashionable or modern.”
Michael at Cornett Intergrated Marking Solutions (www.cornett-ims.com) designed several super cool logos for us, and Brian over at Criket Press (www.cricketpress.com) came up with another killer mod inspired logo for us. Have a look at some of their work/ our logos below:
