Vespa on “How It’s Made”
Are you ready to take a quick trip to Pontedera, Italy to check out how the worlds highest quality scooter is manufactured? Ready to find out why Vespa has the highest resale and highest consumer report ratings? If you answered yes to both of those questions, your in luck:
“This Friday you and your customers can visit the Vespa production plant in Pontedera, Italy from the comfort of your own homes! The Science Channel’s “How It’s Made” television program will begin airing a segment on the production of Vespa scooters on Friday July 24, 2009 at 9:00pm ET.
For those of you not familiar with the program, the title is self explanatory. Each segment serves as a mini-documentary on the manufacturing process of a product generally known to the public. In this episode viewers will see first hand how a Vespa is produced; from the beginning stages of development where the steel monocoque frame is welded together straight through to the finished product.” -Piaggio press release
I am pretty pumped up about watching this. For additional details visit this link Science Channel’s How It Is Made.
