Long ride planned for Saturday (9/19/09)
Our buddies Fred and Mike are embarking another scootering adventure this coming Saturday and would like for you to join in on the fun. This will be a pretty long ride, but you will be joining other scooterist from Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana. Check out Fred’s “Press Release” below:
“LETS RIDE TO MADISON IN ON SATURDAY 9/19
There has been talk about people riding to Madison IN from different locations to meet and greet. A couple of us are planning to depart from the Starbucks on Boston Road no later than 9am to ride to Derby Cycles (Hwy 127)in Frankfort. There we hope to meet up with with other from Louisville and surrounding areas. We plan to depart Derby Cycles and ride 421 to Madison IN. If you are intersted in riding with us please meet us at Starbucks in Lexington or at Derby Cycles in Frankfort. Come ride with us and enjoy the beautiful backroad of our great State.
Note: No fisticuffs over the football game will be allowed. But good strong discussion is encouraged.
So far folks have expressed interest and are rolling from Oxford, OH – Lexington, KY – Lousiville, KY.
Come and join in for a fun day of riding, and meeting other scooter people for scooter club form other states.

If u don’t go on the ride u can catch the hotrod and bike show on 3rd and newton pike, don’t let me be the only scooter rep there. Show starts about 10am and goes the day. Live rockabilly tunes, food, and beverages.

We had 5 scoots rollin from Kentuckiana Scooter Club, +1 the new KSC Lexington District manager makes 6. Looking forward to the next slab ride!
