Vespa Lexington

If you follow the Vespa Lexington blog then you know I am a big big fan of the history behind the Vespa brand. They have been making the worlds best scooter since the 1940’s! I can’t tell you how many folks walk into our shop and tell us about a Vespa they had when they were younger back in the 50’s and 60’s. I love a brand like Vespa that you can associate with; history, style, and quality.

Initially I was on the hunt for old photographs of Vespa shops from the 50’s and 60’s for a blog post. Unfortunately I had absolutely no luck. While on the hunt I ran across this really cool set of photographs on Flickr basically spanning 60 years of the production line at the Vespa plant in Pontedera Italy. They are absolutely amazing!
