When it comes to antique furniture, vintage scooters, vintage motorcycles, and classic cars I have heard the term “barn find” on numerous occasions. Finding a antique treasure thats been tucked away in an old barn for years and years, typically forgotten about and unwanted. I love hearing success stories about folks discovering those unwanted treasures. Being a Vespa dealer we hear about some great finds.

Ever heard of a “bus find”? In the show Antique Archeology, Mike Wolfe (the American Picker) travels coast to coast in search of junk (forgotten treasures). I just ran across a episode where he discovers a bus sitting in a junkyard full of vintage motorcycles and scooters (a 1965 Vespa VB). There are a ton of junkyards here in Kentucky. If I could find a little time, I would love to travel around digging for treasures. I am sure there are some gems to be found here in the Bluegrass!
