Tomorrow morning Vespa Lexington will be on Lexington’s Channel 18’s Lee Cruise Live At Sunrise. We got to be here at 5:30 AM, which is not too cool since it takes Michael four hours to get ready in the morning. I think the show runs from 6 am to 7 am, so if your up make sure and check it out. Lets hope something like this in the video below does not happen to Lee tomorrow morning.

We would like to invite everyone out to Vespa Lexington this Saturday (04/11/2009) between 12-2 for some FREE burgers, hotdogs, and soft drinks. For all those 30k plus people that lost their money at Keeneland last weekend, it’s a great opportunity to eat for free. Did I mention I have won awards for my grilling skills? It looks like the weather is going to be good, and we want to encourage those that have scooters to ride them out here. In addition to free burgers and dogs, you can also check out the new Vespa GTS 300 Super! It’s also a great opportunity for all of the scooterist here in Lexington to meet up, get to know each other, and show off your scooter. As long as the weather is good, plan on being here.

We posted about this several weeks ago, and just wanted to remind everyone here in Lexington that this weekend the WKRP Scooter Rally is taking place in Cincinnati. Michael and a few other guys are heading up on Saturday and staying till Sunday. Michael has gone the last three years, and says it is a whole lot of fun including live music, cook outs, and rides. Like I said before, imagine riding in a pack with 150-200 other scooters. If your interested in going, you can register here, and if you would like to tag along with Michael and his crew you can give him a ring at 859.523.8555. For those that can’t make it, Michael does plan to shoot a bunch of photos that we plan to post on the Vespa Lexington blog that should be up next week. We will be taking some notes, because I think Lexington would be an incredible spot for a future scooter rally.
The shop will be open this weekend, so if you are in the market for a new scooter please give us a visit.

We just wanted to extend a BIG BIG thanks to everyone that came to the Vespa Lexington Holiday Party this last Friday night. The party far exceeded our expectations, I think we probably had 150 people or so come through the doors that night to eat, drink, mingle, and check out our very cool collection of Vespa and Piaggio Scooters. Thanks so much for all of the support and interest.

Sorry for the delay in post’s. We have been slammin trying to get the shop in order for both business, and the the big Grand Opening / Holiday Party we had last night. While the shop is probably the cleanest it will ever be we wanted to post a few photo’s we took prior to the party. We also shot some photo’s during the party, which we should post sometime next week. Have a look and please stop in and visit us anytime!
